One Month

One month old and getting so big!
I'm having formula now...2 ounces at each feeding.
At my one month check up I was only about 7 lbs , so now we're suplimenting to get me back to my birth weight. (if they only know how much more I will grow!)

We go to the doctor once a week for weight checks. So we see Nanny and AUnt Morgie alot since they live near the doctors office. And their house is our stopping point since I eat every 2 hours and I am serious about feeding times!

Photoshoot

I had my first photoshoot at 2 weeks old. Papa had just gone back to work :(

Melissa Andries (photographer) came to our house and Mama and NaNa set me up for a great photoshoot. All went well untill I had an accident in the blanket I was wrapped in....uh oh!!!

But the pictures are amazing!

My first days at home

Being home was great. And my first few weeks were filled with great times. It was Christmas day exactly 1 week after I was born, and new years day exactly 2 weeks after my birth! My first weeks were exciting, with lots of family and lots of love!
I had ALOT of "firsts" during this time. It was exciting for everyone!

December 18th, 2008

On December 18th, 2008 at 1:15pm our lives were changed forever.
Maddox Anthony Thibodeaux made his debut into the world. I know my life will never be the same since that moment. We all fell in love at first site!
Our whole family was there for the great event. NaNa, Pop, MiMi, Paw Paw, Nanny, Parrain James, Aunt Morgie, Aunt Lacy, GiGi, Paw Paw Bufford, Granny Karen and lots of others! The room was full of anxious people ready to meet baby Maddox.
After only 4 hours of labor, and a few quick pushes, he arrived!! Daddy, NaNa and MiMi were there to meet him for his first breath! And I know he took their breath away.
He weighed in at 7lb 9oz and was 19 3/4" long. He was absolutly perfect!
He slept for the first 2 days of his life (literally) and stayed in the room with mama and papa the whole time. We didnt want to let him go!
