My Nana- The Survivor!

My Nana is the strongest person I know! And prayers are the most powerful thing there is!

Within a matter of 2 weeks, Nana found out she had colon cancer, scheduled the surgery and it was removed. It all happened so fast, but with tons of prayers, and a great doctor....God performed another miracle! 

As of today, she is Cancer Free!

Nana was so afraid of the "C" word that she wouldn't even say it out-loud for the past 2 weeks, and now, look at her, she beat it! 

I guess she wont be so afraid of that word now, since she gets to scream the word "SURVIVOR" after it! 

Thanks to everyone for all of your prayers and support, thanks to the doctors who found it so quickly and removed it so wonderfuly, and thanks the most to God, for watching over my Nana through it all!

My First Halloween!!

My first Halloween!!!

We had a big party at our house. Lots of our neighbors and friends came over for food and fun!

I was a puppy and a ghost...I even had a wardrobe change. I had so much fun will all of the people and I got to stay up late! It was all so much fun!

The weather & My halloween costume

I have two halloween costumes....a puppy and a turtle.
The puppy costume was lent to my mama by a friend. Then she bought the turtle costume in case it was too warm outside for haloween to wear the puppy costume.

Well, what will the weather dress me as for halloween? Anybody want to take a guess?
If it's cold outside, I will be a puppy on Friday night.
If it's not cold outisde, I might just be a turtle!

Mommy tried them both on tonight...I didnt like being dressed up, but I had fun crawling/sliding around in my suits!
Which costume do you love the best? I'm cute either way!!!!

I can read...

I have one favorite book: "My first bible stories"
I drag it around everywhere...and make mommy read it to me.
Mommy counts the things on each page. She points at them and says "One angel, Two angels..." etc.
My new favorite thing to do is open the book and read it myself. I point at the things on the page and make small noises with my mouth....I'll be counting out loud before you know it!

And I have big boy winter pajamas too....arent they cool!!!

Blame it on my daddy!

Well, it all started as an innocent game of dress up at nana's house with Morgie. She found this tutu in the dress up box in the back bedroom. She put it on over my clothes and we all thought it was hillarious. Then we kept digging in the box and found some devil horns. I danced and played in the mirror in my new outift and gave my nanny, nana, morgie and mama a huge laugh.
We decided to wait for daddy to get there to show him my new outfit before we went to a halloween party.
Well, daddy saw me and thought I was so funny he wanted to bring me to the party in my tutu!!
I was a hit at the party too! One little boy told me I was so cute, he thought I was a girl! I was hillarious!!!
I will probably be very mad at mommy and daddy for this one day, but for now, it was alot of fun!

PS: Wouldnt I be a really cute girl?? All jokes aside?! HA!

Boo at the Zoo!!!!

I was a scary ghost at the zoo this weekend!!!

Sunday, I went with my friend Sloan, and mommy and Mrs. Brandi to the Zoo for, Boo at the Zoo!!! It was so much fun!!! I got to ride in the little red wagon (my favorite part of the whole day!) with Sloan. We rode around the zoo and got lots of candy in our trick or treat pails!!

9 month Photos

Big Boy Food!

Well, at Mrs Becky's house I eat meatball stew, gumbo, spaghetti and lots of great home cooked lunches!!! But my mama doesnt cook much and my daddy is scared for me to eat big food, so I eat lots of crackers and cookies at home! Baby food does not interest me much, and mama can barely get half a jar down at dinner time. But I can eat about 4 crackers and then a few cookies after that. Theyr'e so much fun, but SUCH a mess!!!!

I drop more than half of them, but I know just where to find them! I have to hurry before Bentley gets to them though, she loves cookies!

I love myself!!!!

I really love myself! We call him "my friend". Everytime I see a mirror, I get SOOOO excited!! And big pictures of myself, bring my friend to life again! I love him so much, I just want to kiss all over him!!! Hillarious!!!

Petting Zoo Party!!!!

My friend James Neese had a Petting Zoo Party for his 2nd birthday. There were lots of animals. I didnt like them all, but the duck was pretty cool! And the wagon was my favorite. Daddy rode me round and round!!!

Happy Birthday to my Nana!!! We all got together at her house for a big party, and since I did such a great job helping to blow out the candles, Nana even gave me some cake!! Yum!!! And Parrain fed me lots of ice cream too!!! Nana loved all the presents!! Especially the wine and pop corn! And after all the fun, I crashed on pop (of course!) my favorite place to sleep!

Well, Maddox is 8 months old now! Wow, that was fast, too fast! I'm everywhere. Crawling, walking along things, standing up in my crib. I'm so much fun. I love books, toys, my puppy and anybody who will pay attention to me. I love to wave in the store while I'm riding in the front of the buggy. EVERYBODY is my friend!!

Mommy has a new hobby too. Photoshop. I've always loved it and been addicted to it, but I just found out new things! It's called textures and brushes...check out what I've been playing with!

Fight with a Rocker

Well, it's my first egg on my head. I love to climb on EVERYTHING. I climbed on the wrong thing this time, it was a lesson, but it wont be the last I'm sure.

I climbed up on the rocker at Mrs. Becky's and the rocker fought back! I ended up with a nice egg and a purple bruise. This is one day later when it had gone down alot. 

Believe me, it didnt stop me though!! I'm still standing up on everything I can get my hands on!
